It is important to understand that Comparative Agility results need to be looked at as a vehicle that the organization can use to enable continuous improvement. Our results do not give you answers by itself, but they provide insight so you can ask better questions and focus your energy, time and investments where it will make the most impact. In short: we help you separate the signal from the noise so you can focus where it matters most.
After taking our survey, we recommend our customers:
a) Find out more information and validate CA results (Open Space sessions, Individual interviews, Observation, objective data)
b) Based on the findings from Comparative Agility (and the additional insight from the step above), outline a high-level improvement strategy at the organizational and team level.
3) After a period of time, run Comparative Agility again, but this time compare old vs new results in addition to CA World Index. Typically, this way teams can recognize the progress they made and identify new opportunities for improvements. I recommend waiting 3-6 months before doing so. You’re making large strategic changes here and this will take some time to have an effect.
All this then becomes a fundamental basis for the continuous improvement initiative across the enterprise. More info about overall process can be found here.
