Creating questions and answers

First and foremost, navigate to the Instant Insights Screen and click on the New Survey button to begin.

You can choose from several question types, including Fist of Five, Multiple Choice, Open Ended, Ranking, Scales, and Word Cloud. Based on your survey’s goals, you can use one question type throughout or mix and match different types across your survey.

To change the question type, simply click the dropdown menu and select your preferred option.

Also, you can enter your questions in multiple locations, such as the main screen or within the Question field. Just click the field that works best for you and start typing your question.

The same process applies to adding answers. Whether on the main screen or within the Answer field, click the field and enter your responses. For certain question types, you can also rearrange the answers by moving them up or down to get the order just right.

Note: To add a new question, simply click on the New Question option in the upper left-hand corner.

Question Settings

By clicking on the three dots within the question box, you’ll have several options. You can move the question to a different position, duplicate it, or delete it entirely. This gives you flexibility in managing the structure of your survey.

Style your Survey

You can customize your survey’s appearance to suit your preferences. There are several styling options available, allowing you to select different layouts that can include or exclude images or background colors.

Additionally, you have control over text styling, including options to adjust the color, font size, and the size of the answer text. This ensures your survey looks just the way you want it.

Presenting the Survey

Once you are ready to present a survey, there are two different ways:

  • Right after creating a Survey
    • Name your survey
    • You can proceed with the Save button and follow the steps below or
    • Click on the Present button
    • Copy and share the link with participants or let them Scan the QR code
    • Start the Survey once everyone is present

  • While on the main Instant Insight Screen
    • Click on the three dots under the Survey you would like to present
    • Choose the Present option
    • Copy and share the link with participants or let them Scan the QR code
    • Start the Survey once everyone is present

Note: The preview button allows you to see exactly how your survey will appear before you save or present it. This gives you the chance to make any adjustments and ensure everything looks perfect.

How do participants see this survey?

After sharing the link or scanning the QR code, a new tab will open, displaying the question and added statements. Participants can easily make their selection by clicking on the desired statement and then clicking Done.

Main Instant Insights Screen

The main screen offers a variety of options. In addition to creating a new survey, you can click on the three dots under any survey you’ve created to access additional actions. These include presenting the survey, viewing the report, duplicating it, renaming, sharing the report, or deleting the survey entirely.

Instant Insights Report

Once you are done with the survey, a report will be created instantly for you. To access it, simply:

  • Go to the Main Instant Insights Screen
  • Click on the three dots under the completed survey
  • Select View Report

On the Report Screen, you have several options to manage and share your results. You can export the report, save it as a PDF, share it with others, and, if available, change the language of the report. These features make it easy to customize and distribute your survey findings.
